I was at KLCC today, doing some shopping ( i had to get a memory stick Pro Duo for my camera), guess who do I see..right, left, front, back…Arabs…this must be the season for shopping! 😉 Come on over & help boost the economy of my beloved country!

Besides the Arabs, there were a few Caucasian men, the young, the old & the … ;P
Don’t mind the young ones, they’re the backpackers, dressed oh so casually in khakis & slippers. But the ones who are more advanced in age were holding hands with some dark / tan skinned ladies. Their wives? Dunno? Maybe? But somehow, I don’t think so. The ladies were more than half their age & were skimpyly dressed. Then it crossed my mind…I remember reading Highlander’s entry..a very hot topic about the Escort Business…could this be true? This business has existed in this so-called muslim country years ago. We call them high-class prost… SPG aka ‘sarong party girls’ also exist over here …

I bet you don’t know this, but handwriting is as unique as a fingerprint, and characteristics within the way that the words and letters are formed can often say more about the person than the writing itself. Posted by Hello

Huh, what does your handwriting have to say about you? Hmmm…interesting…

Visit here : HWA

This is what it says:
Personalized HWA Report for redENCLAVE

Thanks for taking a look at things here to see our Mini-HW read. You report that your signature tends to be about the same size compared to the rest of your writing, slant tends to be slightly to the right, and the slope tends to be slightly upward. Examining the signature and printed name as separate entities, you said your printed name is very different from your signature . Then in the main handwriting section, you indicate that the roundness / sharpness of your hand is usually extremely rounded… lots of loopies, your use of writing/printing is more Cursive, but occasional Printed letters, general slant is not very slanted either direction, but rather vertical, and slope is pretty straight, or flat.

Using the above information, then: You like to keep life in perspective and have a fairly straightforward way of viewing yourself and others. To you, Life is neither a stage nor a tragedy play! Your general outlook on life is positive and you tend to be optimistic. You can take it or leave it when party invitation time comes around. That is, some you will take, and others you will kindly decline. Hmmm… So you like to be one person out in the world and another person in the privacy of your own space, eh? Interesting. Does that also mean that you have multiple personalities? (Probably not but then… who knows!? You could be a hard one to figure out! 😉

So you don’t mind being an original thinker, eh? Well, good for you. The world needs more original people who can get on out there and break a few molds so that we can use the pieces to build new ones. After all, we don’t grow as a society either by overwhelming strict compliance to norms, or by total defiance of them either. But you mild original thinkers are a good place to start new ideas brewing. Great. Ever notice how tears can well up inside of you when you didn’t even expect them? And how you can feel someone else’s emotions whenever they enter the room? A lot of people probably don’t understand that about you, but I don’t need to tell YOU that, do I? You’ve known it all your life! You likely tend to be a quite quiet person and don’t like to rock the boat. You probably are a careful reader, and don’t like to jump to conclusions about anything.

As for Astrological Implications possibly related to you:
And you know, you might have a bit of a strong calling as a Gemini, since you like to mix yourself selectively with different versions for different moods! Next to certain you’d have Pisces as a Sun Sign or Rising. (Or you’re stuck somewhere in your teenage emotions, and THINKING you’re a Pisces!) But that’s just a guess. Certainly, anyway, you’ve got Pisces or Cancer quite prominently swimming around on your chart! Lots of water here. (Where do you think those tears of yours come from!?)

I’m a PISCES damn it! We’re supposed to be sensitive & emotional beings. Can’t help it can I. We Pisces can’t get along with our bros & sis, Aquarius especially those born on the 19th of Feb, they’re a bit mad, you see.

American vs British English

Posted: June 27, 2005 in Our World

I have learnt both, have used both. I think I’m more familiar with the American English as we were taught American English Grammar while at university. Here are a few things which I found out & may have messed up my mind!

1. (U.S.) Finnair has a flight to London today.
(G.B.) Finnair have a flight to London today. (large collective nouns)
2. (U.S.) England has (…) played well today, even if it lost.
(G.B.) England have played well today, even if they lost.
3. (G.B.) The Government are acting like themselves again.
4. (G.B.) Have you got your grade in history yet?
(U.S.) Have you gotten your grade in history yet?
5. (G.B.) He went on a course. How many were on the course?
(U.S.) He was in a course. How many were in the course?
6. (G.B.) We lived in the High Street. (cf ‘street people’ …)
(U.S.) We lived on Main Street (“on” plus article plus High/Main)
7. (G.B.) He’s in hospital with a broken leg.
(U.S.) He’s in the hospital with a broken leg.
8. (G.B.) I have got a car. vs. (U.S.) I have a car. I got a car. (different implications)
9. (G.B.) We weren’t able to catch him up
(U.S.) We weren’t able to catch him, catch up with him, catch up [with him].
10. One was different from/than the other.

Things to do, Places to go

I’ll be going back to Tapah on the 9th of next month. I can’t wait to meet up with my ex-colleagues. Will be meeting them at school as I have been invited to attend the Prize Giving Ceremony. So, this time, I’ll get to meet some of my former students. My ex 5th formers and the current 5th formers. I’m so happy for them, especially Lam Soon Kin. I think he was the best student. He has this calming effect on me. He is like a sponge. he would absorb everything the teachers say to him. What more, he is soft spoken & polite. No teacher would ever forget a character like that. Obviously you won’t forget the naughty ones as well. I don’t mind the naughty boys like Saravanan. Wonder what’s he doing now…. well that’s then…

13 & 14th of July will be a hactic day for me. During the day, I’d have to sit & listen & hopefully won’t fall asleep…attend a 2 day course. At nite 6-9, will be my first tutorial class for this semester. I know I can do it…

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

Posted: June 24, 2005 in Uncategorized
Your Birthdate: February 20
Your birth on the 20th day of the month adds a degree of emotion, sensitivity, and intuition to your reading. The 2 energy provided here is very social, allowing you to make friends easily and quickly.

Yet you are apt to have a rather nervous air in the company of a large group.

You have a warmhearted nature and emotional understanding that constantly seeks affection.

You are very prone to become depressed and moody, as emotions can turn inward and cause anxiety and mental turmoil.

It can be hard for you to bounce back to reality when depression sets in.

When things are going well, you can go just as far the other way and become extremely affectionate.

Have a heart

This has nothing to do with your organs but your feelings, are you sensitive or are you a cold, heartless person? Think about it! Someone you know has just lost a love one. What would you do? If you were in her shoes, how would you feel? I would feel helpless. I wouldn’t know where to turn to. If I were to lose a parent, I don’t think I would be strong enough to face the world. I would need a shoulder to cry on. I would need all the comfort & support I can get. I need to share my feelings. I need to pour out my sorrow. That is why I just could not understand why there are some people who are so inconsiderate. I don’t think I could meet that person face to face anymore. I can’t believe this type of person actually exist in this world. You’re supposed to practice what you preach, for God’s sake! I should stop here, walls have ears…. I think I’m in enough trouble already!
