The rules
Once you have been tagged you have to write a blog with six weird facts/things/habits about yourself. In the end, you need to pick six people to be tagged and list their names.

six weird facts/things/habits about myself
1. I’m dead self-conscious!
2. I love reading between the lines! Keeps my mind working, don’t know if that is healthy!
3. I’m sarcastic when I want to be (don’t know if that falls in this category)
4. I can survive without eating rice or eating once a day! i don’t stay thin by smoking, that’s my friend’s business
5. I make sure I GET WHAT I WANT, no I’m not BITCHY!
6. I live in my OWN world, I love to be different, does that contradict with point no 1…whateverlah

There it’s done, OK Nik don’t bug me for not doing it no more… what the hell am I blabbering about!

6 people I tag
1. Whoever feels like doing it (x6) – It took me a very long time to find out about myself!

Well Spain lost to France, the pundits got it right, again! How awful…I was rooting for Viva Espana to beat Le Blue, I got it wrong. Humm, which team should I give my full support now? It will surely not be England as I HATE Becks, Neville & Ferdinand. Am not rooting for Brazil, as they have got too many supporters wanting them to win the World Cup. Hate Cristiano Ronaldo, so it won’t be Portugal either. What’s left? Germany, Ukraine, Italy, France & Argentina. I’d go for the underdogs. Not Ukraine because I don’t think they’ll have the chance… so it’ll be Italy & Argentina. Will Argentina be able to beat the Germans? Maybe.

Surprise surprise

My cousin’s back from Russia for his summer hols. So, we (aunts & cousins) have decided to hold a surprise birthday party for him as he’ll turn 21 next month. Ah, the key to FREEDOM. But first, we need to check his schedule. He is back not to laze around the house etc but to get some working experience at one of the many govt hospitals. Private clinics, hospitals, @ medical centers wouldn’t be a good start for a medical student. They need to handle as many cases as possible especially those related to tropical disease.

At the moment, we have planned to celebrate his burpday at HRC. We will see.

I’ve finally bought the blouse to go with my cream pantsuit. I have always wanted to put on something black. Must be one of my fave colours! So went to ZARA OU this afternoon and bought a black lacey spaghetti string top to go with my pantsuit, then went in and out a few stores to find a black lacey blouse, as a spare, just in case I won’t look good in that tiny top. I saw a lovely blouse at WAREHOUSE, but I didn’t want to get it RM 256, just for the top. Nah! On the way down to SUBWAY, I stopped by this indie shop, they’ve got great clothes there & got a black lacey blouse. At the end of the day, I’m satisfied! Why? it’s only RM 70. A good buy, don’t you think? It looks just as good as the one at WAREHOUSE, similar design!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO Not Now!

Something happened today! To some it may not mean anything.

Well, I lost one of my contact lens today, at work. If it’s not the coloured ones, fine, I wouldn’t care. So since it is. I had to take the other one off too. I was practically half blind walking around the place. Not too bad! I managed.

The only thing is, would I be able to drive home?

Since I’m here blogging, that means I’m safe & sound.

Thank God! I still have another pair of lens, I guess I need to get two more boxes tomorrow!

I’ve got a wedding to attend on Sunday, I haven’t bought my blouse & scarf to match my pantsuit! (Maybe I’ll just get that black blouse at ZARA)

Shopping time!!

The Afters – Beautiful Love

Posted: June 21, 2006 in music

Far away, I feel your beating heart
All alone, beneath the crystal stars
Staring into space, what a lonely face
I’ll try to find my place with you

Chorus:
What a Beautiful smile
Can I stay for a while
On this beautiful night
We’ll make everything right
My beautiful love

Larger then the moon, my love for you
Worlds collide, as heaven pulls us through
The secret of the world is written in the stars
I’m carrying your heart in mine

What a Beautiful smile
Can I stay for a while
On this beautiful night
We’ll make everything right
My beautiful love

Maybe a greater thing will happen
Maybe all will see
Maybe our love will catch like fire
As is burns through me

Maybe a greater thing will happen
Maybe all will see
Maybe our love will catch like fire
As is burns through me

Maybe a greater thing will happen
Maybe all will see
Maybe our love will catch like fire
As is burns through me

What a Beautiful smile
Can I stay for a while
On this beautiful night
We’ll make everything right
My Beautiful love

What a Beautiful smile
Can I stay for a while
On this beautiful night
We’ll make everything right
My Beautiful love

Hey, since you’ve been asking me for it, I’ve posted the pic below. I’ll see whether I’ll be able to upload the video soon. I warn you, it’s not as good as the ones we saw in Istanbul! The pic is unclear, sorry, she jiggles too much!

Cell Phone DP Tag

Posted: June 14, 2006 in meme

Thanks Don aka Kuwaiti Copper Dude for tagging me.

Since it’s WC Fever, so I’ve joined the bandwagon. I guess you know which team I support this year, none other than VIVA ESPANA

These are the rules:

– a clear picture of the inner surface of your mobile (cell) phone to show the display picture you have on your phone.

– it should show the name brand of the mobile (cell) phone.

I tag Highlander, Khadijateri, Hibo, Simplycomplicated, the Easyman etc.

ESP 4-0 UKR, Xabi Alonso scored the 1st goal *sigh*

270506 2130: Depart from KLIA to Cairo by Lufthansa via Bangkok.

280506: Arrived at Cairo airport at the wee hours of the morning. We were then driven by bus to the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Downtown Cairo. After we’ve freshen up ourselves we went out for an early walk. The street wasn’t filled with cars yet as it was still early. After exploring the city, we returned to the hotel as we did not want to miss our bus. Our tour took us to the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, and Papyrus Institute.

It was hot and humid day but at times breezy. Wonder where did that gust of wind come from. Anyways, the place was packed with tourist of all sizes & colours ;P We even met a few Petronas engineers when we entered one of the pyramids. The view was breath taking. We planned to watched a night show that day, Light & Sound, however, we were very unfortunate as the tickets were sold out. Too bad! To make ourselves feel better, we sat down by the roadside at a small table and drank mint tea.

Although it was a short trip, I manage to occupy my time over in Cairo & Alexandria strolling along the busy streets of these beautiful cities. I’ve managed to capture a few pictures.
I would love to snap beautiful pictures of the interior of the Masjidil Haram & Masjidil Nabawi, however this could not be done. Anyway I was too exhausted performing my umrah. It was very special. Enough said.
